Questions

What can I use for free right now?

The weekly letter, the Before You Decide tool, and the curated Archive selection. The full Forge toolkit and complete Archive are in active development and roll out through 2026 — waitlist members get access first.

Why is the weekly letter free?

The letter is our public work — we want it read, shared, and argued with. Membership exists for people who want the deeper tools, and who want this kind of independent, research-grounded work to keep existing.

When does membership launch?

Later in 2026. Payment is processed by Stripe; billing starts only when membership features go live for your account.

Will the free tier stay free?

Yes. The weekly letter, the decision tool, and the curated Archive selection will always be free. We believe everyone deserves access to rigorous thinking tools, regardless of ability to pay.

Is there an annual plan?

Yes — $60/year, about two months free compared to monthly.
